It's a hot summer for us in the PNW and although I love summer, I'm most definitely ready for the cool weather of fall. While dreaming of that cool weather, I felt inspired to paint over my DIY marble pumpkins I did a few years ago. I loved the marble look, but I was ready for something new.
I've loved painting flowers lately and so these diy painted pumpkins were the perfect canvas for fall decor. You can see below all the flowers I've painted on different items.
Just a quick coat of spray paint and then I had a blank canvas to work with. I decided to try 3 different types of flowers and greenery for the flower pumpkins.
Not sure which one is my favorite. They were all fun to paint and do. My kids now want me to get them each a pumpkin so they can paint their own pumpkin.
How to Paint Modern Flowers on Pumpkins
Supplies:
Paint Pen
Paint Brush
Acrylic Paint (I used colorshot acrylics)
