So we have all seen post after post about screen printing shirts with a Cricut but have you heard about the Easy Press?! It sure made life so easy (pun intended). I made this Smiling is My Favorite Shirt for my little guy because, it really is his favorite, and it was such a quick project for a beginner as we are.
Did you see our last post Here on using Etching Cream on Bottles?
My sister designed these Star Wars shirts for her kids and used Star Wars Cricut Pattern Vinyl. Perfect for those Star Wars fans. So fun that she used Rey as "a" in Wars and a Storm Trooper for the "o".
Beginner Guide on How to Use an Iron On Vinyl with an Easy Press
Supplies:
Iron on Vinyl
Cricut Maker
Cricut Easy Press
Step 1: Cut The Vinyl
You know the drill here. Design what you want for the shirt on your device and print it out on your Cricut Maker.
Step 2: Weed and Apply
This was so incredibly user-friendly and easy I couldn't believe it. It took me 3 minutes tops! First, you place the Easy Press on the shirt for 5 seconds to get rid of any wrinkles. Then you place your vinyl. Put the easy press on for 30 seconds and boom that is it!
Step 3: Remove
Remove the tape and you have yourself a screen printed shirt!
What a great tool to speed up all your projects. And you don't have to use it just for shirts! It could be used in so many more ways. Enjoy!
