Last year I got a hold of a few pencil boxes for cheap, but I thought they looked so boring. So I decided they needed some fun quotes and some color. I couldn't just make one and couldn't pick just one quote, so i did a few.

We ended up giving one away to my son's teacher with colorful markers in it, and then we kept the rest for the kiddos pencils and such. They turned out so fun. My favorite is deciding to do various colors for an emphasis on certain inspiring words.

I used my Silhouette to cut out the words. I simply used BEBAS font and designed the size from there.

Colorful Pencil Boxes with Inspiring Quotes

Step 1: Vinyl

First pick your quote then pick your colors. I used Bebas free font for the letters, but any simple box font would work great. Once you decide what you like, figure what order you want to do the colors in. I wanted certain words to stand out, so those were the words that got a rainbow of colors for their letters.

Step 2: Cut Vinyl

Once you've figured both those out, measure and cut your letters.

Step 3: Add Vinyl to Box

Lastly, using transfer tape, add them to the box and you're done!! Such a fun way to get into the back to school spirit and with bright colors. I think school can be fun going back, but colors make everything even better. These boxes would make great teacher gifts for the beginning of the year or the end of they year.
